2-Month Perfect Your Picture Picture Book Mentorship SPECIAL: $650/month ($1,300 total)

For this Fall/winter only, I am offering a TWO-month mentorship special focused on preparing your picture book for submission to publishers or agents in early 2027. Since publishing slows down quite significantly following Thanksgiving (late November), this is THE ideal time to focus on a work-in-progress with an eye on submission early in the new year.  

TWO MONTHS TO SUBMISSION, LET’S GO: This guided 2-month program will focus on one picture book project, either a manuscript only or manuscript and picture book dummy if you are an author-illustrator. I will edit your manuscript and then we will work through multiple revision rounds (as many as are needed to arrive at a final version). If you are an author-illustrator, I will review your sketches and sketch dummy, and then we will work on developing 4-5 examples of final art for your picture book dummy.

BONUS QUERY LETTER DRAFT: I will also draft a query letter for your picture that includes a project description, sales hook, 2-3 comp titles published within the past 3-5 years, and your bio.

REPRESENTATION AND PUBLICATION GOALS: While I cannot promise or guarantee representation, I will share names of agents that might be a good fit for your work, and do what I can to facilitate an introduction, when possible. If you plan to submit directly to a publisher, we will review the publisher options and editors accepting unagented work.

ACCESS TO ME: This package includes 3 hours of video meetings over the course of two months as we edit and prepare your picture book for submission. This 2-month mentorship also includes access to me whenever you have a question as you develop your work: You may email me at any time, and I will provide support, guidance, and advice in my responses. You will feel supported and inspired every step of the way!

START DATE: ASAP. The goal is to edit and finalize your picture book for submission by early 2027.
